Landslide

Landslide is an event where the occurrence of land movement or commonly referred to as geology that occurs due to rock / soil mass movement with various types and types such as falling rocks or large lumps of soil. Landslides or collapse in general can occur due to two factors, namely the driving factor and trigger factors. The driving factor is the factor that influences the material condition itself, while the trigger factor is the cause of the material's movement.

Process of Soaking Water to Soil - The first process for landslides is the process of absorbing rainwater into the ground. Where this water sinking event will affect the load in the soil which later the land will be on the verge of a maximum limit in storing water. Changes in Soil Texture - What is meant here is that if water that continuously strikes the soil until one day can penetrate into a part of the soil that is impermeable to water and acts as a sliding area then the soil will become slippery. This slippery land will experience a very rapid downward movement when heavy rain occurs. Weathering Soil - Soil that is on the surface will experience weathering, as well as the structure of the soil layer underneath it until it reaches the ground. In this weathering event that will cause the land to move along the slope and then out the slope so that a landslide occurs.

The points above are some of the causes of landslides. As a result of this disaster, certainly not the least of the most severe losses were fatalities, in addition to material losses such as the loss of houses, land, property that had to be given up due to landfills.
