Week 1 The first point of SDGs is without poverty The purpose of this first point is to alleviate poverty. Poverty is still and will always be seen as a serious problem for countries in the world, especially developing countries. Poverty does not only refer to the economic dimension. Poverty is a multidimensional problem. poverty is seen as an economic inability to meet basic food and non-food needs using the expenditure approach. I hope that through the first SDGs point it will be easy to alleviate poverty which is currently a problem that cannot be resolved. The central statistical agency (BPS) has a role in providing data which is then used by the government in carrying out sustainable development programs, providing poverty-related data. And carrying out development programs, especially in rural areas, needs to be improved and monitored in a sustainable manner to reduce the space for inequality.
